Boil the noodles in a lot of water until they're cooked.
Drain, wash in cold water, drain again and transfer to a wide bowl.
Heat the oil in a pan and add the sugar. Cook and stir occasionally until it forms a dark caramel.
Mix the eggs with the noodles and add the salt and pepper.
Add the noodles to the caramel and mix well.
Oil a pot with a lid and add the noodles, cover with a circular piece of parchment paper with a diameter equal to that of the pot and place the lid on top.
