Raspberry Jam

Ingredients

  • 300g frozen raspberries
  • 200g sugar
  • 1 Granny Smith apple, cored and halved
  • Half a lemon, juiced

Method

  1. Mix the raspberries with the sugar and let sit for 30 minutes.
  2. Transfer to a saucepan and add the apple and lemon juice.
  3. Cook on medium heat for 15-30 minutes.
  4. To check if it’s done, place a dollop on a frozen bowl or spoon, and if it sets and does not run, it’s done.
  5. Discard the apple and optionally strain through a sieve.
  6. Transfer to the fridge to set completely.
