Ingredients
- 5 large potatoes
- 2 medium onions
- 2 medium eggs
- 4 tbsp flour
- 1 tsp salt
- Oil, for frying
Method
- Grate the potatoes and onions and place in a strainer and squeeze out the excess water.
- Transfer the grated potatoes and onions to a bowl, add the eggs, flour and salt and mix well.
- Form the mixture into patties with a diameter of about 4cm and gently place into the hot oil, no more than four at a time.
- Fry until golden, then flip and repeat.
- Serve warm with apple sauce and/or sour cream.
