Pickled Swede
Ingredients
- 1 swede
- 200ml water
- 200ml white vinegar
- 20g salt
- ½ tsp whole black peppercorns
Method
- Peel the swede, cut into ½cm slices and then cube.
- Bring the water, vinegar and salt to a boil.
- Place the swede in a jar, add the brine and peppercorns, and compress as much as possible.
- Set in the sun for several days.
